More Stuff! (from Josh)

Hello again, the performance yesterday was great! I am going to post some videos of the concert later and sorry if the quality isn’t that good.

Anyways did you guys enjoy building the gingerbread houses today with our little buddies? I thought it was really fun, especially eating it after.

Don’t forget to wear all black and bring your instrument tomorrow!

Well I have nothing else to really talk about, so here is some more stuff.

QWOP
Basically, you have to make an athlete run using the keyboard letters Q,W,O,P
By pressing those keys, you move his ankles and his legs and make him balance and go forward. There is no trick to winning. It's so difficult. You will get frustrated. Play it if you are up for a challenge.

3D Tetris
The title says it all. This game is just Tetris, but three-dimensional.

Bloxorz
You are a block and you have to try getting the block into a square hole. This game is easy at first, but like any other game it gradually gets harder on each level. There are 33 stages, so good luck!

Stuff (by Josh)

                                                      Stuff.

What did you think of the Christmas concert? I thought today’s dance performance was fantastic! I really enjoyed dancing on stage with everyone else. Now there is another band performance so keep practicing and don’t forget to bring your instrument on Friday.

I must say that I am very sorry for not posting anything yesterday so I hope these will make up for it.

NON – NYAN CAT:
http://nyan.cat/

As you all have heard by now, Ms. Bahd is leaving. So that means, unfortunately, we will no longer have a vice principal. I would also like to thank Ms. Bahd for being the best vice principal possible. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her help. I hope she enjoys teaching at McNeely as much as she did at Thompson.

Now I leave you with 2 riddles.

I know a word of letters three. Add two more and fewer there will be.

Two in a corner, 1 in a room, 0 in a house, but 1 in a shelter. What am I?

Put your answers in the comment section below.

HAPPY MONDAY!

Hello division 1! I'm so excited to be the guest blogger for this week.

Anyway, it was fantastic to see us all on stage today. Isn't everyone excited for the  Hip    Hop for the Holidays performance? As well as the band performance? I know I am !
HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE
I'm going to leave you with a riddle. Put the answer in the comments below.

Mr. Brown live in the brown house, Mrs. Green lives in the green house, Ms. Yellow lives in the yellow house and Mr. Orange lives in the orange house.
Who lives in the White House?

Yo Yo Yo! It's Hip Hop for the Holidays!

Hi Division one bloggees!!!  (Not sure about the correct terminology for those who follow blogs.)

Anyway, it was great to see you all up on the stage today.  As per Mr. Rollins request, here's a video of your dance moves for the Hip Hop for the Holidays practise.....

Thanks, Anastasia, for being a willing participant in demonstrating the moves. I also recorded Jeffrey for Division 2 so if they visit this site they can practice their routine as well.  You both are amazing and thanks for being brave enough to perform on your own, and to get  it on video/iphone too!

So, divisions 1 and 2, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to practice your dance moves this weekend.

(I originally asked Mr. Rollins if this blog site had American spell check on it because it kept telling me to turn "practise" into "practice"......hmmmm, so I looked into it.  Do you know the difference between practise vs. practice?  It's not necessarily just a Canadian vs. American way of spelling....not entirely anyway).

You guys looked awesome today. Forgive my cheers at the end.....I didn't have time to edit the videos.

Peace out!

(*P.S...what is your class'  "shout out" going to be during the group pose???)

Ms. Bahd :)

IQBAL PERFORMANCE

When I was walking towards Grauer, I was thinking to myself, ‘Will this be worth it?’ and definitely, it was.

I kind of thought that this might be a play that was just thrown together in a couple of weeks.  But, I was surprised to find out that it was a polished performance.  I liked how they gave each character a distinctive accessory or shirt colour so that when a new student took over, you knew which character they were.  I loved how they used the projectors as spotlights.  Maybe we should use their idea for our performances.

When we were walking back, I bet almost everyone forgot the play because of their overwhelming need for lollipops and candy.  Thanks Grauer!!  The sugar helped give us a sugar high long enough for our game of Manhunt.

More Vow of Silence

Hello, I’m back with another post about The Vow of Silence. When I first thought about being silent for one whole school day, I thought to myself, I couldn’t make it. But to my surprise, it was easier than I thought. The day was like every other day, but it meant more because I was doing this for a good cause. At some points where I felt like talking, I reminded myself why I was doing this. Overall it was a good experience and if you wanted to share your comments about it, you can comment below.
